Lorettas Gift to Allen

When Grandma Loretta asked Allen what he wanted her to make...it was a no brainer....her famous black out cake...it was absolutely
sinful it was sooo good !!!!

Close up..everything on here was edible..the broccoli was tootsie roll fruit chews split then icing piped on tips then dipped in green sanding sugar..the lo mein noodles is just buttercream icing tinted with a little ivory icing, the pork is tootsie rolls as well as the egg and the scallions are twizzlers sliced thin...got the containers and the chop sticks at my local chinese take out...this was def a great idea..

These LO MEIN cupcakes..looked like the real thing..I got my inspiration from Hello Cupcake....def a Karen Tack Fan..maybe her biggest fan..cant wait for Hello Cupcake 3 !!!!

Made this for a baby shower this past weekend...thought the usual baby under the blanket was getting a bit played out..so asked if I could use a new idea...and it worked..got an order for same theme only for a 40th birthday Party Jan 8th...so guess new ideas are good !!!!

THE WORK IN PROGRESS !!!

Started out with cupcakes that were made with jumbo papers in standard pan..to give fluted look...then tied lavendar satin ribbons around each cupcake to cinch.. a bit..put in box then decorated with fondant ivory and lavendar flower accented with pearl center and dotted pearls on icing..those were the colors of the flowers..the bridesmaids wore eggplant as well as the brides shoes..so we decided to wrap boxes in eggplant organza ribbon...I thought there were elegant and very simply classy !!!!!

This was a pleasure to do..the wedding was yesterday..and from what I was told was a big hit...I prayed for a nice day and thank god they got it....!!!!
